INDICATIONS
Mixon nasal spray is used to prevent and relieve symptoms of sneezing, runny, stuffy, or itchy nose caused by hay fever or other allergies. It is also used to treat nasal polyps (swelling of the lining of the nose). Mixon nasal spray should not be used to treat symptoms (e.g., sneezing, stuffy, runny, itchy nose) caused by the common cold. Mixon nasal spray is in a class of medications called corticosteroids. It works by blocking the release of certain natural substances that cause allergy symptoms.SAFETY AND EFFICACY
Mixon nasal spray should be administered by the intranasal route only. Do not swallow the nasal spray and be careful not to spray it into your eyes or mouth. Each bottle of Mixon nasal spray should only be used by one person. Do not share Mixon nasal spray because this may spread germs.Dosage of Mixon Nasal Spray
Mixon comes as a suspension (liquid) to spray in the nose. If you are using Mixon nasal spray to prevent or relieve hay fever or allergy symptoms, it is usually sprayed in each nostril once a day. If you are using Mixon nasal spray to treat nasal polyps, it is usually sprayed in each nostril once or twice daily (in the morning and evening). Use Mixon at around the same times every day.Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Use Mixon nasal spray exactly as directed. Do not use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed by your doctor. For the prevention of nasal symptoms of seasonal allergies, use Mixon nasal spray 2 to 4 weeks before the beginning of the pollen season. Adults and Adolescents (12 years of age and older): One spray per nostril twice daily. The recommended dosage should not be exceeded. Shake the bottle well before each use.Source:entbazzar
